                                 SHARE PLACING

The  Board of Belmore, a minerals exploration company with projects and licence
applications  in  the  Republic  of Ireland and Northern Ireland, is pleased to
announce that the Company has placed  2,333,333  new ordinary shares at a price
of 3p per share with Starvest Plc ("Starvest"). Following  the  placement,  the
Company  has  31,390,200 ordinary shares in issue, and Starvest holds 5,885,164
ordinary shares, representing 18.75% of the enlarged issued share capital.

In addition Starvest  has  been  granted  Warrants  to  subscribe for 2,333,333
ordinary shares at an exercise price of 3.75p per share at  any  time  over the
next four years.

Our  Technical  Consultant has been granted Warrants to subscribe for 1,000,000
ordinary shares at  an  exercise  price of 3.75p per share at any time over the
next four years.

The placing has raised a total of GBP70,000  for the Company which will be used
to fund general working capital for the Company.
