BELMORE TO RECOMMENCE DRILLING PROGRAMME

Belmore Resources (Holdings) Plc, a minerals exploration company with a focus
on projects in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, is pleased to
announce that, following the interpretation of last summer's drilling results
and a subsequent geochemical and geophysical programme in selected areas on its
base metal prospecting licences in County Clare, Ireland, a drilling programme
is due to commence on licences 3789, 3643 and 3863 during the first week of May
2006.

Following a geophysical and geochemical work programme on newly awarded
licences 2590, 3642 and 3679 (86 sq km), we expect a drilling programme will
follow thereon later in the year.

LICENCE 3789 - CLONLOUM AREA
A single hole drilled last year proved that a thick and prospective Waulsortian
Reef succession was present and that the very limited zone of outcrop is due to
the presence of a major fault. Geophysics has allowed us to locate this fault
and the drilling programme will be targeted to test the best geophysical
anomalies close to this newly discovered fault zone.

LICENCE 3643 - KILMURRY AREA
Last summer's drilling confirmed structural complexity in this area and the
depth of the Reef base was greater than expected. This suggests the presence of
a north-west trending fault and our recent geophysics has located this fault
and detected a chargeability anomaly on this fault which will now be drill
tested.

LICENCE 3863 - SPANCIL HILL AREA
A single hole last summer confirmed the presence of a north-east trending fault
on this licence. This hole tested the less prospective foot-wall of the fault.
Following an Induced Polarisation (IP) geophysical survey, we are now in a
position to target the hanging wall of the same fault.

Scientific or technical information relating to Belmore's activity is based on
direct supervision of, or has been reviewed by John Colthurst, consultant
geologist.
