 Belmore is a minerals exploration company with a focus on projects in Ireland. Currently, priority is being given to the Company's zinc exploration properties in County Clare with the recent discovery of a new mineralised zone. Belmore has an interest in eleven prospecting licences in this area, covering 393.83 sq kilometres. Previous exploration carried out by Central Mining Finance in 1995/96 identified a high-grade resource of zinc and lead rich massive sulphides (approximately 400,000 tonnes @ 12% zinc plus lead and 75g/t silver) in the area of Milltown. This resource is currently not compliant to National Instrument 43-101 (Canada) or JORC (Australia) reporting standards.
Following an extended period of exploration Belmore recently announced (April 2008) the discovery of a new mineralized zone on it's County Clare licenses.

Belmore Resources (Holdings) Plc. was admitted to trade on the OFEX market in London on the 30th of March 2004 in order to use management's experience and local knowledge to add value to licences held by the company and to seek other prospective properties for exploration in Ireland. At listing, an Offer for Subscription of 5,000,000 new Ordinary Shares at a price of 5p per share was issued. GBP250,000 was raised from this issue which was over-subscribed by some 30%. |
