Clare Block - Kilbricken Discovery

  • High grade zinc and lead mineralisation discovery on Prospecting Licence 3679 near the old Kilbricken Silver Mine in April 2008.
  • The drillhole intersected 18 metres of massive sulphide at the base of the Waulsortian Reef.
  • Results include 10 metres at 13.84% Zinc, 5.52% Lead and 62.84 gm/tonne Silver.
  • The mineralisation is open in all directions.
  • Exploration activities are being accelerated following the joint venture agreement with Lundin mining exploration secured in February 2009.
  • Lundin's initial expenditure was €700,000 by June 2009 and their ongoing expenditure allows for an active drilling and associated exploration programme over the coming months.
